How to unleash the power of our Engineers

At Credit Suisse we kicked off a large transformation program striving to create a better and happier agile working environment for our employees. As our first disruptive change, we set a flat organization in place fostering empowered teams aligned to their Value Streams & Products. Co-creation with Business has been one of many additional different pillars.

The second big distributive change followed this spring, where we have moved on from a rather project focused world to a fixed capacity model supporting a new way of working aligned to Agile & DevOps principles. A large scale transformation in the midst of a pandemic crisis is a demanding journey for all involved.

Our talk will highlight the achievements and challenges with a focus on our most important assets: Our engineers!

Claire Corish has 15+ years’ experience leading key IT strategy and change programs as well as supporting multiple organizations through their agile transformations (Credit Suisse, Bank of Ireland, Allied Irish Bank). Claire’s wealth of experience as a technology consultant, developer, scrum master and enterprise architect means she is an advocate for building high-performing, self-organized teams. Claire is also a regular contributor to several agile communities. In her spare time she juggles two small children, working from home, a love for wine & good food and a passion for travel.
